On January 17th, 1999 I
experienced an event inside my head that felt like a powerful migraine headache. The headache was a stroke, caused by the rubbing of a tumor in my brain's meninges against blood vessels.
The tumor changed my life in many ways. One way is that I have undertaken to write a record of my life as it relates to the tumor. In the erratic growth patterns of tumorous cells, I have been fortunate enough to find a few shreds of meaning. I invite you to join me on this
upsetting but ultimately rewarding journey.
